The full convenient store/gas station supplies all the needs for guests and the surrounding community throughout the year. During the winter months, you can buy live bait/minnows for fishing. The Steel Wheel is a hub for recreational enthusiasts year-round. This area of the Black Hills is known for summer and winter sports including snowmobiling, ATV'ing, downhill & cross-country skiing, fishing, as well as being in close proximity to the Mickelson Trail, a 100+ mile trail that follows an old railroad bed and is used for bicycling, walking/running, and other non-motorized trail uses such as horseback riding. The property is located on snowmobile trail 7 and ATV trails that offer hours of enjoyment in the backtrails of the Black Hills.
